The church and grounds
Yesterday we made good a football pitch and cleaned up the garden arround the priests house. Today we put up some fences and cleaned up his house for him
Peter & Phil send best wishes to all: Glad to know you have arrived safely and are getting your priorities right - football pitch first. Everton drew 2-2 at Arsenal. How far to the nearest B&Q? -looks as though you will need a lot of paint!
You might like to know that Claire Ball has been stuck in London since last Wednesday; the flight to Dar es Salaam was cancelled because of the bad weather and they only go there twice a week. Hopefully she will get away later today (Monday). Horrid sleety showers here today, messy with slight thaw. Best Wishes, Phil
lovely to hear of your safe journey and arrival in Suriname.we see by the pictures and reports that you have been very busy already.mind the snakes and mossies. the weather here would soon shift them into hibernation !! Be safe ,our love and prayers are with you all,Margaret & Wilf xxxxx
Great to see how you are all getting on - it all looks and sounds really worthwhile. The report in the parish newsletter was really informative. Have you built a Gwladys street stand for that pitch yet? I'll tell Maggie about the letters from the children in the village, that sounds brilliant. City beat Blackburn 4 1 tonight to go 4th. Tevez hat trick. Take care!
Dear Anton and Gang, Glad to hear off all your adventures and especially the hard work you have all done on our behalf.I have been keeping all the Parishioners up to date with a daily diary in the newsletter.Lots of Parishioners have enjoyed reading it.We will celebrate your return at the Parish Feast day on Sunday 24th Jan in the club and we will cook you some Amazon Scouse and look forward to seeing your pictures.I think the best thing about your trip is that the people in Brownsweg know that they are cared about. Stay safe and well and send the best wishes from the Parishioners in snowy Huyton. Love Jeanette in the Parish office xx
